Meet Jennifer

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#80559) with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and couples. I began my career working as a school based therapist in both the Los Angeles and San Diego areas, helping at-risk students and their families. I then went on to to gain experience working in various non-profit settings working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence; foster youth and families; working in a group practice providing individual, couple and family therapy; and working with activity duty military and their dependents providing both individual and couples counseling.
I am a native to southern California and attended San Diego State University where I earned my Bachelors in Social Work. I then attended California State University, Northridge where I completed a dual program earning my Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy and a School Counseling Credential. I have completed several specialized training's addressing Military Culture, Child and Adolescent Behavior, Relationship Violence, Trauma, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Anxiety, Depression, Sex therapy, Non-Monogomy, Life transitions, and I continually attend training's to advance my therapeutic skills. In addition, I am certified to to provide supervision to Marriage and Family Therapy associates, guiding new clinicians in developing their skills as they gain hours toward licensure.
As a therapist, I focus on meeting clients where they are. I apply Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused therapies along with various modalities to help you learn new skills and explore new paths in your life.
